Patient Access
Appointments can be made either by telephone or by calling in at the reception desk. You can either book an urgent on the day appointment (if available) or go for a pre-bookable appointment.
We have some pre-bookable appointments available to book online for the GP you will need to register with us first please just ask at reception for a Online service form.
We always try to minimise the waiting time for you and, whilst we try to see you at the appointed time, some patients appointments may take longer than the time allocated, so please be patient if there is some delay.
We will also try to give you an appointment with the doctor that you prefer, but it may not always be possible. Its also advisable that you should try to see the same doctor during the course of the same illness.
Non-urgent advice: Notice
Please always attend your appointment on time and if you are unable to keep your appointment then please remember to call us as soon as possible. By doing this, you will be helping us to make more appointments available for you and other patients.
Please ask the reception staff for further advice on the appropriate appointment.
Home Visits
If you are so ill you cannot attend the surgery please telephone as early as possible to request a home visit by the GP.
Emergencies
In case of an emergency or when the surgery is closed, you have below options available to you:
- If your problem is an emergency or life threatening, please call 999.
- Out of hours contact number for the practice is available when you telephone the surgery out of hours.
- If you require information on symptoms or need medical advice, please callNHS Directon 111.
