Non-urgent advice: Sunderland Enhanced Access Service
If you can’t get an appointment with your GP or can’t get there during the day due to work or other commitments you can use the Enhanced Access Service.
Sunderland offers extra appointments seven days a week at your local out of hours site, alternatively it may be possible to arrange an appointment at another site across the city which your practice will arrange.

NHS 24 on 111 can help you get the right care if:
– You think you need A&E, but it’s not life threatening.
– Your GP or dental practice is closed, and you cannot wait until they reopen.
